September Wrap Up 2019 – or is it? (October TBR)

Hey everybody!

I want to use this post to catch you guys up a bit, just let you know what’s been going on.

So.. I’ve only posted one review this month.. big sigh. I want to explain how that came about. I already talked a bit about it when I made my September TBR.

The first thing is, I’ve been reading a science book for a while now and I’m getting along slowly because of its size but also its content. It’s not really complicated but anything that’s textbook-like takes time to digest. Moreover, I had been working quite a lot this month. And I didn’t want to start yet another book without finishing this one. So, there’s that.

The second thing is that I just started law school. Although we’re still pretty at the beginning, there’s a lot to read. Now you might think “oh so you’re tired from reading a lot for uni already” but surprisingly, no. Reading this much has actually made me want to read more of my other books, my non-uni books (now I didn’t expect that). What happened was, though, I needed a bit of time to get into the rhythm of things, develop a routine of sorts. So I was pretty overwhelmed at first, all these new things and so little time, it seemed. However, I think (and hope) October will be much better reading-wise. I’ve been discovering which methods work best for me for uni, and I’ll be working less; In conclusion: I’ll have more time to read what I want (hopefully) !

As for my September TBR… I’ll be using it as my October TBR instead!

I just wanted to give you guys a little insight into what’s been going on!

Have a great rest of the week!! x
