First wrap up of the decade! And we went a bit off course..
This month went by so fast, I feel like so much has already happened this year. It’s only the first month ending, though, it’s crazy.
Anyway, I ended up reading a book I did not really have on my radar for this month but I’m glad I read it! And I read fewer books than I thought I would but it’s fine, they were still great!
Here we go!
What We Saw (by Aaron Hartzler)
My Goodreads rating: 3.5 out of 5
A good book, a good read. The subject matter is quite topical, would definitely recommend! (TW: rape, sexual assault)

Little Women (#1) (by Louisa May Alcott)
I put #1 in the title above because I’ve only read Little Women part 1, so far. The edition I got doesn’t have Little Women part 2, Good Wives, in it, as some editions do. I plan on reading Good Wives soon, though!
My Goodreads rating: 4.5 out of 5
Anyway, I really enjoyed Little Women. I don’t think I would’ve read it if not for the film coming out and my friends asking me to. A classic I would definitely recommend! And speaking of classics, I happened to read this one instead of another one I had planned for my 2020 classics challenge!
I don’t think I will write a full review for this book, nor for the other classics I’ll be reading this year. Definitely small reviews like this but I feel like a full review for a famous classic is a bit redundant. Unless I feel really strongly about one, no full reviews, I think.
This is it for my January wrap up! How was your January? What books did you read?
